Spicers joins the All Equals Charter

Spicers has recently joined the All Equals Charter through parent company OT Group. The charter provides practical support and guidance on how to be a truly inclusive workplace and create safe spaces. This is an important move for Spicers as a business that aims to improve its inclusive approach, and ensure it’s held accountable for diversity and inclusion initiatives.

The first phase of work to ensure improvements in inclusive approaches is now completed and the company will continue to receive guidance from the unique initiative.

The All Equals Charter promotes equality, diversity, and inclusion for all LGBTQ+ people. It is designed to help businesses and organisations recognise and challenge all forms of discrimination, providing practical support and guidance.

The Charter is a vital initiative for businesses like Spicers. It challenges the idea that Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I) programmes are often perceived as a “tick-box” exercise, by encouraging businesses to think dynamically about DE&I. It also creates a community of businesses working towards a common goal.
