Spicers Ltd , Wholesaler  to the Office Products industry, requires a Stock Integrity Officer at our Heywood branch. 

Reporting to the Stock Integrity Manager, the successful candidate will ideally have had some form of relevant background in a stock related role, possess good organisational and I.T. Skills, be able to deal with problems confidently and work under pressure.

The main accountabilities for the successful candidate will be to:

  • To audit stock levels through a system of Perpetual Inventory to ensure quantities listed on the Warehouse Management System are accurate.
  • To investigate customer queries in relation to stock issues raised.
  • To maintain the integrity of the stock in the warehouse. Dealing with non conforming product and  product relocation as necessary, in relation to changing sales demands.
  • To liaise with central departments to ensure stock availability is maximised through effective substitution of alternative products.
  • To participate in Company held stock takes as required.
  • To carry out procedural audits in order to achieve and maintain our ISO quality standards.
